Isn't there something addictive about pugs? I think it's that mix of cute and ugly which make them so characterful. Mungo was no exception. He has since had his teeth corrected, but in these photos the crookedness really brings out his character.
I love dachshunds! That's the reason I own two myself! Gracie is a perfect example of everything I love about them. Her sausage shape, beautiful markings, and such a cute face. Nice tongue too!
Pixie was so so fluffy and sweet. This shoot was purchased as a surprise gift for the owner who absolutely adores her. She was delighted with the end results and I think she looks beautiful too. Pixie certainly enjoyed the cheese and crisps on the shoot!
Why does the doberman breed have this nasty representation. Silly Hollywood! Hogi is the most gentle of dogs and playful too. He was a great subject to shoot and is certainly one of my faves.
I honestly have never met a dog like Pickle. A dog that is obsessed to the point of it needed to be included in the shoot. It took about 20 attempts to get the catch just right, but the end result looks stunning! Nice one Pickle, you crazy, curly haired rascal.
This little dapple dachshund is such a joy to shoot. Not only is he one of the cutest dogs I've shot, he also provides so much entertainment in front of the camera. His personality is certainly unique, and reminds me of a cartoon character.
Baloo was one fun character. A tongue the size of a giant wham bar, a head the size of a basketball and iced gem teeth to match, but so sweet and harmless.
Ludo looking gorgeously handsome for the camera. Such a happy face to capture. A definite mans best friend.
This was the first dog I captured which took on such a unique characteristic. It was after a few test shots with Dylan when I realised the camera was really capturing his playful personality. Thank you Dylan for starting it all.
What a fun shoot it was with Betty. She had an obsession with her toys which made for a very entertaining shoot. Her brother Hogi was not quite as playful but together they were such a pleasure to work with.
I love the shaggy look of Peacan, and the dead-centre stare down the barrel of the lens is perfect. It's hard not to look into those eyes and get sucked in more and more.
